Program update released

We’ve made a few improvements to version 1.5 since its release in April. The changes are posted in the Support section of the Web Gallery Wizard Web site under Version History. Download version 1.5.3225.1 update.

In the pipeline: Web Gallery Wizard 2.0

Web Gallery Wizard 2.0, our next major software release, is in the works. We can't share too many details yet but it is looking great! We are implementing many of the requests we have received from you. This new version will pack a lot more functionality but still be simple to use.

We don't have a specific release date yet, but we expect to offer Web Gallery Wizard 2.0 later this year. You will also be able to import your current 1.x gallery and output the new and improved 2.0 gallery with ease. Stay tuned for more details.

Now's the time! Give us your wish list...

If you have feature requests that you want us to consider for upcoming releases, let us know! Contact us and tell us what five features you care about most, in priority order (from the list below, or adding features you don't see listed).

Here are some of the great features we are evaluating:

• Add video clips to your Web Gallery
• Include background music to your slideshow
• Add narration to any album page
• Include maps showing where your pictures were taken
• Enable flexible layout for image descriptions of any length
• Easily customize a theme from within the wizard
• Easily add a contact/text page and other links within the wizard
• Display EXIF camera metadata
• Protect your images by disabling "right click"
• Enjoy larger image size
• Overview images with "film roll" and "contact sheet" views
• Control image file compression
• View all features with Firefox
• Ability to add Google ads to all gallery Web pages
• Provide Web hosting for users who need a hosting solution
• Give Flash designers a way to create and sell themes
• Enable Web designers to customize parts of the HTML code
• Provide photographers a way to sell images using PayPal
• Provide artists a way to sell framed prints through Pictopia
• Offer Web hosts a white label version, tied to their servers
• and more...

Some of these features will be included in the 2.0 version, some will be added later, and some may never make it at all.

But one thing is for sure: we will implement first the features YOU care about most. So let us know what features you want.
