Renaissance Faires has implemented a number of navigation links to help with integration in the larger Web site. The Memorial for the firefighters at #10 in New York has framesets to add both header and footer information. The Racing Fanatics example sports a custom theme with the logo integrated in the gallery design.

The Wall Street Journal reports the risks of photo-sharing sites An article in the February 1, 2006 edition of The Wall Street Journal brought to light several issues with using online photo sharing sites, the most distressing of which is the potential loss of photos. The article recounts the experience of one man who tried to retrieve his pictures from one popular photo sharing site. “When he emailed the company, he was told that his photos had been removed because there hadn’t been any order placed from his account for over a year, he recalls. ‘I told my wife, and she was on the verge of tears,’ he says. ‘My children were in shock.’” Read the article in its entirety. We also thought you might be interested in checking out “The Casualty List,” a Web page that documents photo sharing sites that have come and gone.
